Summer League 2008Umpiring Information

UMPIRES

We are always looking for qualified umpires to help officiate at the summer leagues.  If you or somebody you know has a level one qualification, or needs some match practice before being assessed for the level one, please complete the slip below and return along with your entry form.

Trainees will have the opportunity to get some practical experience and coaching during the summer leagues through a mentoring scheme.  We have arranged for umpire coaches to attend the summer leagues to offer support and advise to the trainees, and we will also arrange the assessments.

As the lack of quantity and quality of umpires and officials is a national problem, and one that is prevalent in most clubs, this is an ideal opportunity for club members to gain the necessary knowledge and experience.  If there is anyone in your club who would like to sign up for the course, please complete the slip below and return along with the entry form.
